US Grade 8 - 11
Students will learn about cities, states, countries, and provinces in this geography class. We will also learn about the culture, famous landmarks, and foodways. As all the places covered in this class, will be places I have personally lived/visited, the students will also get to see pictures of these places as well. In the first 20 minutes of the class, I will give 3 hints about the location we are going to talk about. The students will have to develop questions in that time to figure out our mystery place. In the final 20 minutes of class, we will discuss fun facts about that place they correctly guessed; covering famous landmarks, famous people, foodways, and tourist destinations from that part of the world. We will also look at pictures of that place, and I will tell stories of my time there, giving travel, and relating struggles, and joys. They will also have the opportunity to ask personalized and general questions about my experience there, and share their experience there (If they have visited the city/state/country themselves),
