Intermediate - Advanced Level
Ghost stories are a rite of passage for the youth. These tales and experiences help us grow, finding courage, bravery, and laughter. And as it's almost campfire scary story season, this class is for all who can't make it out into the woods and in a tent with a bunch of other campers, swapping tales. From the comforts of our own home, this class will provide a safe space to explore this rite of growing up with like-minded, supportive peers. I will lead by example, telling the first ghost story. Then the students will follow one by one, each saying their piece. The class will mostly be free-flowing. However, I will provide guidance and support to the students.
Learning Goals
By the end of the class, students have increased their confidence in storytelling and public speaking. They will have also learned new vocab and enhanced their English language skills.
