US Grade 1 - 4
Nothing beats learning and having fun. Nor does anything beat bringing yourself a little closer to the level of all our favorite poets and songstresses. Definitely, nothing beats both those things combined, like this class does. In this fun, competitive, and interactive class, students will employ the beauty of the English language as we play rhyming games! At the start of class, I will explain the rules of the games. Some games will be played solely by speaking. Others will require a pen and paper.
Learning Goals
Students will be able to come up with rhymes at the drop of a hat
Students will have an appreciation of poetry and the beauty of the English language
Students will have the first tool in their toolbelt to write poetry and songs.
