Students will learn about different social studies topics. They will learn what life was like in the past and be able to compare it to today. They will also learn general concepts about geography such as maps, Venn diagrams, and how to use them. Not only that but students will be introduced to world economics and different resources around the world.
I am a geography graduate from a well known Canadian university. Here I learned all about ancient civilizations and how they helped mold the world that we lived in today. I also heavily studied maps and the importance of them. Not only that but I studied years of world economics and of it affects the world and the independent country. I have also studied economics in university for years and have a large understanding of the earths resources and how the impact countries around the world. I have also studied anthropology with is an extensive study on people and how they interact with the environment around them. I also taught AP geography to high school students so not only do I have an in-depth understanding of geography and the world around us but I have successfully taught courses in it as well. A lot of this information I can provide myself from years of studying it but it will also come from textbooks as well as following USA curriculum guidelines.
Homework will not be assigned.
45 minutes per week in class, and no time outside of class.
