The second part Geo-Algebra continues with a mixture of Geometry and Algebra. Student will develop skills that will be needed for future, higher and/or high school and college-level math classes.
Class experience
The course breakdown is as follows: (NOTE: Instructor reserves the right to change and modify content)
Class 1: Calculating inscribed angles.
a) Using arithmetic to solve for angles. b) Using algebra to solve for x , find the angles and verify.
Class 2: Calculating central angles.
a) Using arithmetic to solve for angles. b) Using algebra to solve for x , find the angles and verify.
Class 3: The triangle mid-segment theorem.
...Student provides a notebook and pencil or pen.
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
