In this compact and fun harp course, students will learn how to play the harp with a good style and technique, to give them a great start and enjoyable experience. Lesson 1: pupils will learn how to hold the harp, using their 2nd finger to play a scale and a simple melody Lesson 2: recap scale and piece learned in lesson one, and learn preparation as we add the thumb. Playing a piece with fingers one and two. Lesson 3: we will cover exercises for the preparation of three and four fingers. Building the Italian and French technique. Another piece will be taught Lesson 4: to conclude this course we will recap on the fundamental technique learned throughout. Lessons will all consist of a warm up, exercises, games and pieces.

Hello, after studying 8 years in the Yehudi Menuhin School and gaining a double first class honours in violin and harp, I gained the experience to apply to my teaching. I have been enjoying teaching for several years and I enjoy bringing my passion and enthusiasm of music to inspire others.
