Class Experience

Welcome to second grade math. This course is the full math curriculum for the second grade. This is a very interactive class that is full of activities to help each learner grasp each concept.

I follow the "I do", "We do", and "You do" method. For example, I will introduce each concept, We will work on the activities together, and you will apply what we have learned in your individual work.

All activities will be done on nearpod.com. Nearpod allows children to really engage with what is being taught and it will really allow each learner to comprehend the material better. I will post a video tutorial under classroom on how to access nearpod. Each week I will send a code, for each learner to access nearpod.

Upon request I will be happy to post under classroom a PDF version of all activities that will be done throughout the course.

Learners will get to interact with myself and their classmates through lecture, games, slides, video clips, and discussion.
