This class is geared toward 2nd grade concepts, but I think learners from ages 6-8 may benefit. There will be a maximum of 4 learners in class in order to give each learner an opportunity to participate. Learners will be encouraged to show and explain their mathematical thinking. Parents, you know your learner best! Please feel free to contact me if you have any questions or concerns.

Texas Teaching Certificate in Elementary Education
Hi friends! I graduated from the University of Texas at Austin with a BS in Applied Learning and Development. I am certified to teach Early Childhood-Grade 6 Generalist/ESL. I have experience teaching PreK, 1st grade, and 4th grade students. I have taught in both public schools and in an IB PYP setting.

My classes on Outschool are geared toward younger learners and through experience, I have learned that this age range is my favorite! While teaching on Outschool, I've discovered that a smaller group is more beneficial to younger learners. You'll find that my classes are smaller in size, so I can focus on the learners in my classroom. I strive for my classes to be engaging, interactive, and fun!

In my spare time, I like to bake and spend time with my family. I love to include my two daughters in baking and crafting projects.
