In this course, students will be given guided practice problems to identify and write fractions numerically, as well as to show visual representation of a given fraction. This should not be the student's first exposure to this mathematical operation. Students will be given immediate feedback, guided error correction, and reteaching as needed during the class. Strategies such as using pictures, tape diagrams, and number lines will be demonstrated as needed. Students should have some experience with vocabulary such as halves, thirds, etc. before attending this class. A private section of this class is available by request.
