This class is part of a series of classes meant to provide opportunities for learners to review and practice math concepts involving the pythagorean theorem for right triangles, typically taught in 8th grade math. Below is a list of concepts that we will be covering during this class. •Day One: Using Pythagorean Theorem to Find the Hypotenuse and the Missing Leg •Day Two: Using Pythagorean Theorem to Find the Perimeter of a Triangle and the Converse of the Pythagorean Theorem •Day Three: Pythagorean Theorem Word Problems Please note that this is a class with a set schedule. Please review the entire schedule before enrolling, as missed classes will not be rescheduled or refunded. Thank you!

Hello! I have been teaching and working in the public school setting for the past nineteen years, and tutoring privately for the past ten years. I have worked with students ranging from kindergarten to eighth grade in math, reading, writing mechanics, American History, and beginning Spanish. I especially enjoy working with students in small groups or individually, and developed skills as an online educator when schools had to close for the pandemic. I have continued to work online with learners today, and truly enjoy it. When I'm not teaching, I enjoy watching television and movies, and traveling with my family.Reviews
