Description
Class Experience
There is nothing more special than homemade gifts and cards! The extra detail you put into your card will be noticed and appreciated! In this class, I will show you with detailed instructions and examples, how to make a card with your choice of paper and design. Each card will be unique and can be personalized for the special occasion you want to use it for. If you can fold, cut and glue, then you will have no problems making a card you will be proud of! The student will be able to learn a new art technique that can be reproduced. The student will be able to interact with the teacher and other students as we craft together.
I will send measurements and pattern suggestions for the papers required for each card design a day before class. You will need various colors of card stock, colored paper, and/or scrapbooking paper I will give suggestions, but the choices are up to you! You need scissors and can also use a small papercutter for some designs You need a glue such as Mod Podge/ small brush or a glue stick. Elmers glue could work, but sometimes warps thin paper.
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
45 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
We will be using scissors during this class that could be dangerous if not used correctly.
