In this one-time class we will read stories about and learn how butterflies and moths are the same and different. We'll engage in vocabulary, I Spy and Pattern activities and work on symmetry coloring moth and butterfly pages in class.

Class experience

US Grade Pre-Kindergarten
Learners will strengthen literacy, listening and sharing skills and observation and speaking skills while we talk about butterflies and moths We will learn new vocabulary words, work on visual discrimination skills and practice fine motor and direction following skills when we color our butterfly and moth pages.

**In order to promote class discussions and participation I do not mute learners' microphones. This also helps learners practice their social skills such as active listening and taking turns. In order for this to work, students need to be in a quiet setting away from background noises (loud conversations, telephone calls, t.v, etc.). **
 1 file available upon enrollment
Please bring coloring tools to class (ie. crayons, colored pencils, markers) and print out the included printable for enrolled learners. We will work togther on the first 2 pages (one moth and one butterfly) discussing things like symmetry and color while also reviewing what we learned about each insect in our stories.
Because of the age of the class I recommend a grown up be within "ear-shot" to help with any technical hiccups (mic and video) that might come up.
