This will be a one time class where we will learn all about the life in the day/night of a firefly. We will start off the lesson by reading a story about fireflies. We will then discuss the story and what we think a firefly does for fun. This will help the children develop critical thinking as well as turn taking, and creativity. After the discussion we will learn some fun facts about these little bugs! We will gain a better understanding on what they eat, where they sleep, if they lay eggs,...
They students will: -gain a better understanding of the characteristics of a firefly -develop their critical thinking skills -practice their creativity -develop more awareness to turn taking -comprehension of a story
There will be no homework for this class.
