NONE OF THESE MATERIALS IS REQUIRED, BUT LEARNERS MAY USE THEM IF THEY WISH: Field Guide to Insects or Arthropods Age-appropriate insect coloring book Colored pencils Pictures of bugs they have cut out of magazines or printed from the internet Scrap book (to draw pictures and write facts)
55 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
The instructor will use sources such as field guides, Google and iNaturalist to help identify specimens. Parents may or may not want to give their children access to these apps.
