Understand the concept of responsibility and its importance in personal and social life. Develop self-awareness and identify areas where responsibility can be improved. Our instructor, Jo, brings a unique set of skills and experience to the table, making him the ideal teacher for this course on responsibility, accountability, and personal growth for teens. With over 20 years of teaching experience, Jo holds a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science and a passion for teaching essential life skills to learners of all ages. During his time at university, Jo took several classes related to personal development, character education, and communication, further enriching his understanding of these crucial topics. In addition to his academic background, Jo has gained valuable real-world experience working as a martial arts expert and performing around the world with various circus teams, showcasing his many talents such as bubbleology, staff spinning, juggling, and stilt walking. These experiences have provided him with a deep understanding of the importance of responsibility and accountability in diverse contexts. As a successful serial entrepreneur, Jo has a wealth of knowledge in goal setting, decision making, and problem-solving, making him an expert in helping teens develop the skills necessary to become responsible, accountable, and conscientious individuals. His diverse background, extensive experience, and commitment to using scholarly sources and seeking out multiple perspectives make him the ideal instructor for this course on discovering responsibility and fostering personal growth in teens.
Homework Offered
Each week, there will be approximately 20 - 30 minutes of homework assigned to help participants develop and apply the ideas taught in class to their own lives.0 - 1 hours per week outside of class
Assessments Offered
Learner progress will be assessed through regular feedback on homework assignments and a final project, which will be evaluated based on its functionality and creativity.Grades Offered
