Students will learn how to identify a cause, create a mission statement, build a team, fundraise, and establish a non-profit organization. They will also gain knowledge in financial management, marketing, and leadership skills.
Jo the instructor has founded three successful companies, and has experience in financial management, marketing, and leadership. He also have over 20 years of teaching experience across a variety of topics.
Homework Offered
Each week, students will complete a project related to the topic covered in the pre-recorded video. Homework will take approximately one hour per week, and may involve research, planning, and writing.1 - 2 hours per week outside of class
Assessments Offered
Students will receive individualized feedback on their homework assignments and specific next steps to improve their work.Grades Offered
Students will need a notebook and pen/pencil to take notes and work on homework assignments.
