Description
Class Experience
Learn to be an entrepreneur! Launch your own business! Become independent! Live out your dream! This class is all you need to know to launch any type of small business. And what's even better, this is not just another "book learning" business class. This is a class based on decades of personal experience as a serial entrepreneur. We will be discussing real world scenarios and hands on tips that are proven to work. If you have any dream of having your own business someday, this is a great...
The goal is to inspire towards entrepreneurship while equipping with a foundation to succeed.
I have been a serial entrepreneur for five decades, across a wide variety of business types including retail, publishing, repair, photography, computer science, agriculture, professional services, etc. My position has usually be founder or on the founding team, and usually worked as owner or C and VP level executive. These businesses have ranged from teams of 1 to 100+. Some have operated successfully, some were acquired, and some failed (yes, it happens to the best of us). Through it all I have learned what works and what doesn't. Now I desire to pass this wealth of experience on to the next generation. This course is my heart as well as my skill and experience.
In the background of the weekly sessions, each student will be building out their own business plan to be presented in week 10.
There will be some suggested reading, commonly available books to further the principles discussed. These will be given during the course as the topics come up.
55 minutes per week in class, and an estimated 1 - 2 hours per week outside of class.

Learning facts and skills is definitely important, but an often missed but critical piece of education is understanding the foundation. Without a proper understanding of the underlying principles of "how something works," the collection of facts...
