Final Class Announcements
Wrapping up the end of this class!
I want each student to feel confident in their ability to succeed in math class!

🔷 GOALS
🔸 Students will master adding, subtracting, multiplying and dividing fractions.
🔸 Students will feel more confident and more successful in math class.
🔸 Students will develop a growth mindset and strategies to make them a more effective and efficient learner.
My first goal is for students to have a positive relationship with math. Hopefully, I can build up their confidence and lower any stress around the subject. I try to normalize mistakes and create a low pressure, supportive and fun class environment.

I'm a Credentialed Middle and High School Math Teacher with 12 years teaching experience in grades 6 through 10 and a Master’s in Teaching.

I started my career teaching middle school math and then moved up to high school. I love teaching middle school after having taught high school because I have a very clear idea of where they are headed and exactly what they need to succeed in their first years of high school math.
Homework Offered
There will be a weekly assessment that should be submitted to me so I can check progress and provide feedback. There are also practice assignments with answer keys to reinforce the topic from each video lesson. These do not need to be submitted to me.

Assessments Offered
I will have students take an initial assessment of their skills before the class begins so I can see their current levels and how to best address their needs.
