This course is catered to first grade phonics skills and standards. We will learn letters and their sounds, spelling patterns, and some grammar skills necessary for successful reading. We will start each class with kinesthetic phonemic awareness and then introduce the letter or spelling pattern of the day. We will practice writing each new concept along with reviewing skills taught in previous lessons. Repetition is key.
