US Grade Pre-Kindergarten - Kindergarten
In this ongoing class we will be learning and practicing a new phonics sound each class. We will be playing games, reading a story, practicing making words and spelling words with the sound. Learners will need something to write with and on, like paper and pencil or a whiteboard and marker. There is no order that the learners need to enter the class for, as once we work though the sounds we will start over at the beginning of the list. Learners are able to join and leave as they please, each class will focus on a new sound and not build on any of the others. Hi I am Teacher Kaylyn and I have been working with children in many different ways for over 15 years in many different ways. Most recently I have taught online for online since 2019, teaching ESL and here on Outschool. I have a 6 year old son and I am used to high energy fun. I love to make learning fun and I want to share my interests with others. Since I do have a young son I love to teach young students. It is great when they figure something out and you can see something click. I love to read and I really like to do book studies to share that love with others. I have learned that to start a passion for reading you need to find the right books that you can't put down. I want to help others to their own books they are passionate about. I love to make candies and my family loves it when I do also; they get all the samples. I hope to see you in class soon!
