Give your child a head start learning about how money works, how to save, and how to plan...before they start earning hard-earned cash.  

This six-week course is designed for young learners, and with a mix of real-life scenarios, engaging hands-on activities, and mini-games, learners will discover that, indeed, money doesn't grow on trees!

Class Insights:

💡 Interactive Learning: Dive into the world of money management through activities that blend basic math and literacy skills, teaching kids the value of a dollar in fun and engaging ways.

Enrichment Activities:

🏦 Real-World Applications: Each day features task cards designed to not only bolster math and literacy skills but also to provide practical money management lessons that students can apply in their daily lives.

Weekly Breakdown:

Week 1: Understanding Needs vs. Wants, Making Smart Choices, Creating a Savings Plan, and the Budgeting Bean Game

Week 2: Exploring Debit vs. Credit and the Basics of Bank Transactions

Weeks 3-4: Inspiring Young Entrepreneurs - Discussing ways to earn money, understanding profit vs. loss, and brainstorming business ideas for their own small money-making ventures

Week 5: Mastering Smart Shopping - Learning about pricing, sales, and calculating sales tax. (Learners are encouraged to use calculator for these activities as multiplying percentages for tax calculations is difficult by hand)

Week 6: Jeopardy Review (a cumulative review of Weeks 1-5)
