Students will learn figurative language elements including similes, metaphors, personification, hyperboles, oxymoron, onomatopoeia, irony, and alliteration.
A packet will be sent as a pdf through email to each participant prior to the start of class. Please print the packet so that the student learner may have it present in class. They shouldn't work on it ahead of time. Other than that, a pencil, highlighter and , perhaps, coloring supplies would be terrific.
