In this 30 minute class we will explore time and space by watching videos, reading books, and drawing. We will explore the eight planets, what makes up a star, how astronauts travel to space and what life is like in outer space for astronauts. We’ll also talk about life on the moon and who the first people to travel to the moon were. Learners will get to ask questions about outer space as well as show their knowledge by creating a drawing of outer space. Learners are not required to have any prior knowledge of space to take this class.
Learning Goals
Students will understand what makes up a star, what life is like in outer space, and how Earth compares to the other seven planets in our galaxy.
