In this ongoing course we will look BEYOND THE PLANETS of the solar system. Students will learn all sorts of interesting facts about different space topics each week. This course complements my other ongoing course: “Planets of the Solar System - Virtually Travel to and Explore Each Planet”. Students can expect engaging PowerPoint guided discussions filled with images, short video clips, and LOTS of discussion! SCHEDULE OF CLASS DATES (Dates will continue to be added*): August 29 - The Moon September 5 - Man Landing on the Moon September 12 - The Sun and Stars September 19 - Asteroids/Meteors/Comets September 26 - UFOs and Extraterrestrials October 3 - Life as an Astronaut October 10 - Exoplanets October 17 - Pluto October 24 - The Moon October 31 - NO CLASS (Halloween) November 7 - Man Landing on the Moon *This on-going class keeps repeating on an 8-week/class cycle. You can start at any time as the 8 classes just keep looping over and over. More classes will continue to be added each month. No prior learning experience is required for this class.

Parental Guidance
One of our weekly topics is dedicated to aliens and UFOs.
It is possible that very sensitive young learners might find this topic a little scary. This topic is approached in such a way as to avoid that from happening; however, it is possible that our alien discussion might seem scary.
Students really enjoy the aliens and UFOs topic (including Area 51), but more sensitive learners might find it potentially a bit scary (parents may want to pause their enrollment for the week of this particular class if they have a sensitive learner).

Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
