This is a 1 day class exploring positive and negative space. First, I will be introducing how artist use positive and negative space and we will do a brief activity identifying positive and negative space in our environment and in famous works of art. Next, we will cut and glue a positive and negative space collage. We will finish by sharing our finish product with the other students ( this part is not mandatory). Vocabulary- Elements of art, collage, symmetry, spatial, space, positive and negative space. No prior experience needed.
