This course has a new time slot and the first day of class will be starting FEB 2nd! In this dynamic ongoing course designed for 1st, 2nd and 3rd grade, students; learners can join at any time and dive into a new topic every week, fostering a love for history, geography, and mapping skills while gaining knowledge about diverse civilizations and cultures. Throughout this course, students will develop a broad understanding of our planet by exploring it with the help of tools like Google Earth. Each week, they will embark on an exciting adventure, delving into the history of different continents, oceans, and even discovering their own location using maps. Students will engage in interactive activities to develop essential mapping skills and learn how to navigate their way around. As they explore each topic, students will be captivated by engaging storytelling sessions where the teacher will share screens to bring history to life. These sessions will not only enhance their core vocabulary skills but also provide a deeper understanding of the fascinating historical concepts. To reinforce their learning, students will be provided with age-appropriate worksheets that promote critical thinking and deeper comprehension.
