Lesson 1
Introduction to Earth Day
In our first session, we'll kick off our Earth Day adventure by diving into the history and significance of this global celebration. We'll explore the origins of Earth Day, learn about its founder, Senator Gaylord Nelson, and discover how this movement has grown over time. Through engaging discussions and interactive activities, students will gain a deeper understanding of why Earth Day is important and how it has inspired environmental awareness and action around the world.

Understanding Environmental Issues
In session two, we'll delve into some of the most pressing environmental issues facing our planet today. From climate change and pollution to deforestation and biodiversity loss, we'll explore the impacts of these challenges on ecosystems and human societies. Through multimedia presentations and thought-provoking discussions, students will gain insight into the complexity of these issues and the urgent need for action.

Lesson 3
Sustainable Living Practices
In session three, we'll shift our focus to practical ways individuals can make a positive impact on the environment through sustainable living practices. From reducing waste and conserving energy to practicing eco-friendly consumption and supporting environmentally responsible businesses, we'll explore strategies for adopting a more sustainable lifestyle. Through hands-on activities and real-life examples, students will learn how small changes in their daily habits can lead to big benefits

Taking Action: Conservation and Community Engagement
In our final session, we'll empower students to take action and become environmental stewards in their communities. We'll explore the importance of conservation efforts, such as protecting wildlife habitats and restoring ecosystems, to promote biodiversity and mitigate environmental degradation. Additionally, we'll discuss ways to get involved in local and global environmental initiatives, from volunteering for clean-up events to participating in advocacy campaigns

Homework Offered
In this class, we'll focus on hands-on activities and discussions during our live sessions, but there won't be traditional homework assignments. However, students are encouraged to explore further on their own if they're passionate about the topics we cover!

Assessments Offered
In this class, we'll prioritize interactive learning experiences over traditional assessments like tests or quizzes. Instead, students will have opportunities to demonstrate their understanding through participation in discussions, completion of hands-on activities, and engagement with creative projects. The emphasis will be on exploring and applying concepts rather than formal testing.
Grades Offered
This class will focus on fostering a love for learning and environmental stewardship rather than assigning letter grades. However, students will receive constructive feedback on their participation, engagement, and projects throughout the course. At the end of the class, each participant will receive a certificate of completion to recognize their efforts and commitment to making a positive impact on our planet.
