In this ongoing class, we will meet twice a week and learn a new planet each day. Learners will explore our solar system and learn fun facts about each planet with help from our friend, Astronaut Amy! Each lesson will incorporate the program Nearpod (please see below about Nearpod). Students will explore the planet scheduled for that day and learn fun facts about the planet, and whether we can live there or not. Each student will have the opportunity to ask questions, and interact with each...
At the end of this ongoing lesson, students will have a better understanding of our solar system.
After each class your learner will be provided with an optional worksheet that will go along with the day's lesson. This worksheet is optional but helps students retain the information we went over in class.
1 hour 10 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
We will refer to NASA's website and information throughout this course.
