Students will be able to ask and answer questions on their own. Students will have individual turns to demonstrate progress and understanding. In this class, we will not only learn important skills necessary for kindergarten, but also explore different languages and cultures from all seven continents of the world. No prior experience or knowledge is required, so all learners are welcome! Each week, we will focus on a different continent and cover important concepts such as days of the week, months of the year, counting, letter names and sounds, rhyming, sight words, and reading and writing words. We will use a variety of engaging teaching techniques such as chanting, singing, call and response, and interactive activities. Our daily classroom routine will involve a "music and movement" song, greetings in different languages, calendar time, vocabulary and color/shape of the week, counting, and occasional story time. Learning Goals

Parental Guidance
It will be helpful if students can access their writing tools on zoom which can be found on the tool bar under "annotate" or "view options". Teacher can work around this if using the tool bar is not an option for the student. In this case, student should have a paper and writing utensil handy so that they can participate in writing or drawing activities.
