US Grade Preschool - Kindergarten
Beginner Level
Learners will be taught the alphabet, sight words, and beginning reading. We will begin with a welcome song. Learners will then engage in discussion with the class about the letter of the week, sight words, etc. We will practice identifying the letters and sight words, practice writing them on the screen, sing songs using the letters/words. I will use a variety of teaching methods which will include, but not limited to textbooks, videos, hands on activities.

Hello! I'm so excited to help your learner in English Language Arts. I have a high school daughter that I've homeschooled since Kindergarten. My first year teaching, I taught Preschool. I absolutely love that age. After that, I taught online and still do, teaching English and Math with a focus on English. I have been doing that for over 8 years now. I also recently began teaching in the classroom again and teach a multigrade classroom of grades 5-8. It's so fun. I like to incorporate many different learning methods to meet the needs of each individual student. Outside of the classroom, I enjoy hiking with my daughter and our fur babies. We have 3 dogs. Callie and Chloe are our 5 year old Chiweenies. Charli is our youngest, but largest, baby and she is a 2 year old American Staffordshire. I enjoy growing plants. I can never have enough plants. I like doing yoga and pilates. When I'm not in the classroom or with my daughter and dogs, you can find me reading a book. I love to read. I also enjoy watching all kinds of movies, going to restaurants with my daughter, and spending time with family and friends.Reviews
