Class Experience
This class is about elephants. We're going on an Elephant Safari! The class will be full of photos of elephants in the wild taken by the instructor in Africa. We'll talk about what elephants are like, what they eat, how they behave, what their life is like in the wild. We'll see pictures of baby elephants and elephant families and elephants being silly with each other. Students can take turns deciding what to name the elephants. Students will learn all about elephants, how they live in the wild, what they eat, how they behave, and what they like to do.
All of the pictures in this course of elephants were taken by me in Botswana, South Africa, and Namibia. I've also worked with the senior managers at the National Zoo responsible for elephant care.

I'll attach a page of elephant drawings for learners that they can color during the class.
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
No learner assessment.
55 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
