In this one hour lesson we will explore some beginner's drawing techniques to create facial features and shadows, then we will discuss how you can make your self portrait into a drawing which is as unique as you are! Finally, we will draw your portrait together. Don't worry if you have no drawing experience, my teaching style is fun and supportive and you will be able to follow along as I draw with you. At the end of our lesson you will be able to draw a realistic portrait using correct proportion and plenty of imagination!

Throughout my career I have worked with students from all over the world and I have enjoyed developing my skills while working with learners from many different age groups and nationalities.
I began my teaching journey after studying Visual Art at Adelaide College of the Arts, providing arts and crafts workshops to adolescents in my hometown and teaching life drawing at a local art studio.
While living in Spain I taught arts and crafts workshops in Summer camps and in primary schools which enabled me to bridge language barriers with a variety of creative activities.
Throughout my time teaching I also exhibited my artwork in galleries around Spain.
As an Art Teacher I aim to create a fun and supportive environment for all of my students, a place where they can feel free to express themselves creatively and most importantly, where there is no such thing as a mistake!
