LIVE Online Art Class: Draw a Delicate Hummingbird

**PLEASE NOTE** Occasionally, I run a class with fewer than 3 students. When I do, the class often runs shorter than the amount of time listed, due to the fact that less time is used with introductions, or with differing abilities and processing speeds in different students. The content is exactly the same, and in fact, can be considered a bargain for a private class.

Using my guided drawing process, students will use simple lines, shapes and patterns to create their own stunning hummingbird. 

We will examine the shapes and colors of hummingbirds, practice those shapes, and draw a hummingbird, finishing it up with black Sharpies, colored pencils, and if the student chooses, watercolor paint.
 Background knowledge of lines, shapes and patterns, and how they are used to create a work of art are helpful, but not necessary. An hour of drawing/coloring on their own time might be needed for students who work more slowly, but not necessary. 
 
Learner progress will be evaluated based on completeness of drawing, individuality or uniqueness in their color choices, and participation in final critique.
