Welcome! I am so excited that you joined this class and I look forward to meeting you soon. Please share with me if you have a favorite book related to Winter, Snow, Gingerbread, Reindeer, Santa, or Elves. Also, don't forget to bring your favorite stuffed animal to class. See you then!
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
If questions about Santa arise, I will address this with students by telling them that Santa is a fun character to read about during the holiday season. I will tell them that many people think Santa is magical and he brings a lot of joy to children all over the world. I will also mention that it's up to you (the child) to decide if you believe. We can then steer the conversation to discuss other things that we can believe in and that bring us joy during the holiday season such as helping and giving to others, spending time with family and friends, and participating in fun, winter activities.
