In this 4-day camp, the students will focus on reading and reading comprehension strategies using an early reading book! The story will be read with fluency and expression with chances for the students to interact with the text and make predictions about what will happen next. We will talk about the author and illustrator. We will identify the parts of the book including the front cover, back cover, spine, and title page. We will discuss reading the words as well as reading the pictures to...
1 file available upon enrollmentA handout will be provided prior to the beginning of each session. Please have the handout, crayons, and a pencil ready for each class. (Optional) Have a copy of the book available to read along or to practice re-reading before or after our class together! See Course Description for the book that will be used each week.
