Teacher expertise and credentials
Hi, I'm Jonah. I live in Victoria, BC, Canada.

I started learning programming in 1995 while in High School. Over the years I have learned various programming languages and prototype apps that were of interest to me.

This is my short list of the software I have used along my journey:

Visual Studio Community - C#
Unity 3D - Junior Unity Developer (Over 10 years)
GODOT Engine - Published 2 games on Google Play and Windows 10 (Over 2 years)
GDevelop

My goal is to help students understand the pathway to becoming a developer, whether it is apps or games. What expectations and realistic goals.

My teaching style is creating a calm, well-paced and easy to follow classes for kids ages 9-18. With my 1:1 support the class can be adjusted to fit the student needs and abilities especially for neurodivergent students as well.

I look forward to meeting your student and helping them grow.
