Class experience

Homework Offered
1 hour 25 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
Assessments Offered
Grades Offered
Gamers will need:
-a completed character sheet
-pencil
-paper
-polyhedral dice (digital is okay)

Students will also have access to DM Beth's unlocked DnD Beyond campaign by Wizards of the Coast. This will offer access to digital sourcebooks and a digital character-building program. It is NOT a requirement to use DnD Beyond; it is just a valuable resource available to you for free.
In addition to the Outschool classroom, this class uses:
Third-Party Tools:
Students will need the Player's Handbook for character building. I recommend the third-party tool of DnD Beyond by Wizards of the Coast for digital character building as well as having access to free digital books. To use this, your student must be 13 or old and have a DnD Beyond account. This is NOT required to join this series, as pen-and-paper character sheets are perfectly acceptable!

Content Warnings:
Games of Dungeons & Dragons include regular themes of fantasy battle. This is not described in disturbing detail and is always monitored by an adult.

This particular campaign IS of the horror genre, specifically medical and industrial horror There will be scary situations and monsters that might be disturbing to children that don't like that sort of thing. There is body horror content such as golems, reborn monsters, mutated creatures, and mad doctors/scientists. There is environmental/industrial horror such as pollution and its negative effects, scary weather, and shipwrecks. There is social horror such as secret societies that plot against the citizens of Lamordia. There is pretty consistent evil around every corner, until the party fixes it!
This is a campaign created by myself through the 5th edition content of Wizards of the Coast. We'll use The Player's Handbook but students are allowed to use any official D&D content for character building.
