Beginner - Advanced Level
In this course, you’ll learn how to design engaging and balanced D&D encounters that captivate players and enhance gameplay. 

We’ll dive into key topics such as encounter design principles, creating compelling challenges, crafting memorable villains, integrating story elements, and finalizing your encounter to perfection. 

Over the course of one week, you'll complete five lessons, each featuring instructional videos, practical activities, and detailed assignments to guide you through the process.

I’ll be teaching through a mix of clear video instructions, hands-on activities, and thoughtful assignments designed to support your learning. 

My teaching style is interactive and supportive, focusing on providing clear explanations and constructive feedback. 

You'll have plenty of opportunities to ask questions and receive personalized feedback on your assignments through the discussion boards, ensuring that you get the most out of the course.

Activity: Analyze examples of well-designed encounters.

Assignment: Write a brief summary of your ideal encounter concept.

Activity: Create a basic challenge for your encounter.

Assignment: Develop a detailed challenge for your encounter, including statistics and mechanics.

Lesson 3:
Crafting Villains and Monsters
 Video Lesson: How to design memorable villains and monsters that fit your encounter.

Activity: Choose or create a villain/monster for your encounter.

Assignment: Write a detailed description and stats for your encounter’s antagonist. 
Lesson 4:
Incorporating Story Elements
 Video Lesson: Integrating story elements into your encounter to enhance immersion and player engagement.

Activity: Develop a backstory and motivations for your encounter.

Assignment: Create a plot hook and narrative elements for your encounter.
