During this lesson, students will learns fun tips for making cupcakes taste and look amazing!

Class experience

Students will learn the value of being prepared and having a plan. We will also focus on having a clean area, as well as ensuring we are properly handling all items. My goal is to teach attention to detail, as well as build confidence in a new skill. Although we will be used boxed cupcakes and frosting, I will teach students tips for making their cupcakes special! We will also be learning how to pipe the frosting onto our cupcakes!
I have worked with children for over 15 years! I LOOOOOOOVE to bake. Cookies and cupcakes have always been a very strong capability of mine. I come from a long line of bakers and I love the confidence that baking can bring to young learners. Additionally, I use baking with my own children to teach attention to detail and the value of preparing ahead of time.
Hand outs will be posted in the classroom with exact ingredients and materials needed 48 hours prior to class. However, below is the basic list of ingredients that will be used!

Box of cupcake mix - YOUR CHOICE of flavor
Prepared Frosting
Cupcakes Liners
Ziplock Bags
Cupcake / Muffin Pan
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
