Class Experience

In these ongoing classes, learners will understand the importance of healthy social skills. Learners will explore the basics of social skills, how to start a conversation, healthy verbal communication, nonverbal communication and how to respond when a conversation becomes uncomfortable.

Learning the skills will help students become more confident in their ability to carry on a conversation with their peers, teachers, individuals in the community, and future employers.

The class format will vary depending on the lesson. It will range from discussion, verbal and written instruction and role-playing situations.

The class slides will be posted in the classroom after the scheduled class. This will provide the learner every opportunity to master the skills.

Starting lessons over every 26 weeks for the ongoing class.
