Cruising for Skills on MS Excel - Pt 2 for Middle School

This hands-on, four-part lesson  the learner to Microsoft Excel.

This class may meet once a week for 4 weeks or twice a week for two weeks.

This class will discuss: Formatting and calculating Profit and Loss statements, creating charts, relative and absolute references, autofill, creating data tables, flash fill, conditional formatting, grouping worksheets.

This is the second segment of the Excel portion of the technology applications class that I taught in middle school for 20 years. I wrote the curriculum based on skill requirements set by the state of Texas. The Excel portion is divided into two basic parts.

Class 1 – Profit and Loss Statements, charts
Class 2 – Relative and absolute references, autofill
Class 3 – Creating data tables, flash fill
Class 4 – Conditional formatting, grouping multiple worksheets

Needed for this class:  Computer with video, sound and document saving capability, newer version of Microsoft Excel (2019 or Office 365).

Prerequisite: Cruising for Skills on Excel Pt 1 or similar skills.
