Count & Color: Kitten Math
In this one-time class, we'll use fun kitten cut-outs to practice counting using 1-to-1 correspondence for numbers 1-10. We'll work on simple addition, sorting and patterning skills, which will also develop our math vocabulary.

In this one-time class we will use fun kitten cut-outs to practice counting and develop number sense for numbers 1-10. We will be begin with an optional Cat Share, where each learner will be greeted and have the opportunity to share something they love about cats. Learners may choose to bring (1) cat-themed item to share with the class such as: a cat stuffed animal/toy, pet cat, or picture of a cat. Students will develop 1-to-1 correspondence counting, sorting, and simple addition skills. Students will learn and use key math vocabulary throughout class.
1 file available upon enrollmentYou will need: - Kitten Count printable worksheet (provided before class). - Child-safe scissors - Crayons, markers or colored pencils for use during class. - Optional: (1) cat-themed item to share such as: a cat stuffed animal/toy, pet cat, or picture.
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
30 minutes per week in class, and no time outside of class.
