In this one-time class we will use fun Easter themed cut-outs to practice counting and developing number sense for numbers 1-10. We will be begin with an optional Easter Share, where each learner will be greeted and have the opportunity to share an Easter decoration or item with the class. Following, we will sing an Easter counting song (Five Little Easter Eggs), practice counting our Easter pictures using 1-to-1 correspondence and color each of our pictures. We will practice simple...
Students will develop 1-to-1 correspondence counting, sorting, and simple addition skills. Students will learn and use key math vocabulary throughout class.
1 file available upon enrollmentYou will need: - Easter Count printable worksheet (provided before class). - Child-safe scissors. - Crayons, markers or colored pencils for use during class.
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
30 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
Parental Guidance is needed for scissor use prior to class (we will not be cutting in class).
