One of the reasons we love the changing seasons is that we experience them with all of our senses. We respond to the vibrant color of autumn, the scent of woodsmoke, the call of geese flying south, the taste of pumpkin pie, and the soft warm feeling of our fleece blankets. When we write poetry about fall, we want it, too, to capture that multi-sensory feeling so that our readers will be moved to remember their own love of autumn. Through a variety of prompts, you'll discover new words, new poetiic structures, and new ways of "seeing" the images that belong to your poetic vision. And you'll leave with several fall poems, written by you!
