Class Experience

This "ONE TIME" class focuses on completing puzzle chapters in Codespark App. Each puzzle chapter would cover one or more of the following concepts: 

Chapter 1: Algorithm and Sequencing 
Chapter 2: Loops
Chapter 3:Parameters, Sequencing, and Looping 
Chapter 4: Events
Chapter 5: Conditional Statements

At the beginning of each puzzle chapter, I would introduce the coding concept by sharing my screen and completing the first 3 puzzles with the learner. Each learner would then be encouraged to...

- Completing puzzle chapters 1 to 5
- Work in pairs to solve complex problems.
- Apply computational thinking concepts to solve intricate puzzles.
- Use coding and computational thinking concepts to develop and code unique programs as a form of self-expression.

I have a certificate of completion for codeSpark Ignite. codeSpark Ignite is an online professional development course designed to help PreK-5 educators teach young students the basics of Computer Science and the foundations of computational thinking.

With the basic Computer Science training coupled with my 10 years of experience teaching young learners, I am confident in my ability to teach this class on Outschool.
