With this game coding course using Scratch, kids can learn to code with ease. Scratch allows them to explore and create animated games like a Pro, with no need for all the text and typing of programming languages. The Scratch interface is dynamic and easy to use. Kids love the colorful visuals and lively platform. This is a 6 week beginner course where kids create their own fun games during class. Week 1: Hungry Kitty Week 2: Virtual Fish Bowl Week 3: Taco Time Week 4: Virtual Pet Week 5: Cat Pong Week 6: Cross the Street Block categories used will include motion, looks, sound, events, sensing, operators, and variables. This class covers the use of some of each of the primary block types in Scratch. Traditional coding methods can be a bit complex for kids to start with and that’s where Scratch comes in. Scratch simplifies the whole process of writing code by reducing it to building blocks and drag/drop features; even sounds are easily added with the drag and drop feature; the learning process is easier, engaging and fun for kids. Sit back and watch your child code their own games and play them as well. The learning experience is compared to none; it’s exciting, educative and exposes a kid to the tech world of game development. 𝐂𝐨𝐝𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐅𝐨𝐬𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐬 𝐂𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐯𝐢𝐭𝐲 𝐢𝐧 𝐊𝐢𝐝𝐬 Kids possess amazing imaginations and creative minds. Teaching a child how to bring their imagination to life through coding will be thrilling and positively impactful for them. From creating simple games with Scratch and playing with their friends the child can go on to create more complex games for everyone. The best place to start this journey is our beginner game coding course using Scratch; enroll your child and watch them bring their creative imaginations to life. 𝐂𝐥𝐚𝐬𝐬𝐫𝐨𝐨𝐦 𝐄𝐧𝐯𝐢𝐫𝐨𝐧𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭 This class supports collaboration and learners may be prompted to work together to solve challenges.
