Does you little one love apples? In this course we will be talking about apples! To start off this lesson, the teacher will read a book related to apples. This to be a great introduction to our lesson and will help the children with their turn taking and critical thinking skills. We will then be discussing the life cycle of an apple through pictures on a PowerPoint. I will have a real apple and I will be cutting the apple in front of the students to teach them the parts of an apple. The students will learn how there are many types of apples and the process to get the apples from the farm to the store. This is a great lesson to get the children to start thinking about the fall and why farms are so important. We will conclude this lesson with an open ended apple print art!

Hello everyone! My name is Ashley, I live in the United States, throughout the last 12 years I have been a preschool teacher, after-school program director and a general manager. I built my way up in the same company and have worn many hats. I have in depth experience working with children of all ages. In 2011, I received my bachelors degree in human development and Human Resources with a concentration in Early Childhood Education. More recently, since 2020, I have been teaching on Outschool. This has been my favorite position yet!! What I love about education and teaching children is the connection that I am able to form with them. I want children to feel comfortable and have fun learning. Aside from teaching, I have two children of my very own who I homeschool.
