Class experience
Restorative yoga is the combination of gentle twists and passive stretches that work to relax the nervous system. This class is for all levels of yoga experience. The teacher will demonstrate and explain each posture. Each class will include 5-7 poses which students will hold for 5+minutes with a meditation and guided breathing practice. Yoga mat is optional! Create a calm environment for stretching and meditation. A clean floor with blankets and pillows can be used as props to help the body rinse out and completely relax
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
This class is for all levels of experience and abilities. Students should be in a quiet space with any pillows, blankets, and comfort items. Some moments for optional sharing throughout the class but mostly this is designed for the student to listen and observe themselves for a greater understanding of mind/body awareness.
