In every class students will learn and practice different yoga postures and breathing techniques. The class will focus on building up their self-esteem and confidence, inner and outer strength and heightened awareness about themselves and others. We’ll have some cool songs and dances which will incorporate challenging yoga poses to nourish their excitement for movement. They’ll have relaxation and meditation at the end of every class. The class will include 1. Good warm-up 2. Building intensity of poses gradually 3. Incorporating a flow of yoga poses 4. Standing and sitting poses, backward and forward bends, side bends, twists, inversions, and balancing poses into classes 5. Technique and accuracy in poses 6. Deep regular breathing 7. Making it experiential by bringing their attention to specific muscles being stretched or strengthened to build more awareness 8. Relaxation and meditation

Students will improve flexibility , strength and concentration and learn yoga poses
Other Details
Parental Guidance
Avoid having heavy meals for two to four hours before practice. Stay hydrated before and after your yoga practice. This yoga session is for general health and well being of the child and does not offer medical advice.
As always, consult your physician before beginning any new exercise program.

Supply List
Outdoor area is preferred with soft floor like wood or carpet (yoga mat would be best) and the child should be in comfortable and exercise appropriate clothing. There should be space to allow free movement.
