In this 40 minute workshop your child will learn memorization tips, practice times tables and play an online game in the Arcademics platform to compete in a friendly way. You can register for one or all.

During this 40 minutes workshop we will go over times tables up to 12 x 12. I will teach some tricks like for the times 2, times 4, times 5, times 10, times 11... and the famous trick for times 9! I love to get each child to participate and be active in their learning. I will use visuals and oral directives and even a trick using hands... to reach different learning styles. Each child will be encouraged to use all three of the techniques in order to increase the probability of retention. At the end of the workshop, we will play a game of Arcademics online together to practice what we learned.
